The inside diameter of the product listed as 4 1/4" is actually 4 1/8" ID.This is important if you use a 4 1/4" junction box.

These worked very well for extending 4 inch led ceiling lights to 5 inches. However we ended up going with the 5 inch ones as these arrived late. Great concept and good quality

I bought these with the impression from the product description that they were made of aluminum. They're definitely some sort of steel instead. I wanted something to create a sealing surface for 2 outdoor porch lights on my stucco home. I was going to seal them to the stucco with caulking so that the foam gaskets for the light bases would have something flat to seal against. Aluminum would've been perfect and not rusted, so that's why I paid the higher price for 6 of these even though I only needed 2. I just got them today and tested them with a magnet without even opening the package. Nope, steel, not aluminum. Back they go and instead I ordered 2 singles of the cheaper steel ones which I'll have to paint thoroughly to keep from rusting. To the seller, please fix the incorrect wording of your item description. Not a happy customer here.

These really matched my existing baffles and stayed close to the ceiling with no gaps. I had ordered PVC originally but the interior ring was too small. These worked perfectly and are metal.

The size of the trim is basically the size of the trim of the light so they don’t cover up very well
