OT403P works with the RL56 retrofit kits (Halo 5-in or 6-in 65-Watt Equivalent White Round Dimmable Recessed Downlight) , but also can be used on others (Utilitech 65-Watt Equivalent White Dimmable Downlight) depending on dimensions required, etc. Lightweight, has a little "lip" inside. HALO makes a number of goof rings that are compatible with retrofit kits, so check their site for actual dimensions (do not use Amazon shipping package dimensions). OT403P = Oversize White Plastic Trim Ring 6" I.D. x 8" O.D. (ring slips behind RL56 ring, in stepped configuration), *not* to be confused with OT400P = Oversize Flat White Metal Trim Ring 6" I.D. x 9-1/4" O.D. (ring slips behind RL56 ring, in stepped configuration). Second picture here compares product with cheaper Sunco GR56 goof rings that are heavier, have a slightly larger outer dimension, are pretty flat rings (no lip).

Not oversized and in fact the same 8-inches as standard trim ring, Not 9.25-inches as listed, Not painted metal but white plastic, Do not buy - total waste of time and should be removed from site.
