Your cart is empty.These coil springs are used to mount recessed trims to recessed housings. Use one pair per trim and housing. Attach one spring coil by the hook to the trim, and hook the other end to the clip inside the housing, or to the mounting plate or bracket. If your housing does not have a place to hook the spring onto, you can utilize universal mounting clips, which slip onto the edge of the housing and provide a mounting mechansim for installing trims with the coil springs. I have recessed lights that are 30 years old. The springs needed replaced. These worked great but more than I thought they should be

Picture is not the same as the product. The Springs are identical to the recessed can light springs I am replacing, because they break. They are identical to the Halo Recessed Lighting Replacement Coil Springs (4 pack). Cost is half the Halo; probably because they come in a sealed plastic bag of 4 instead of the hard plastic pack.
