When comparing to Halo, you will notice the clone is much thinner gauge on the polished aluminum. the troubling part are the latches, when removing the trim, the latches dig in good and bend on the removal of trim. other then that it appears to look nice and you really do not remove regularly. Just ok product

Very easy to install. Just push it in. One of the few options available for 4 in recessed lights. Price is very good.

I bought these to compare with a substantially more expensive "Alzak" reflector trim for our new 4" recessed LED lights. The aesthetics were comparable, so I bought 30 of these. Installed easily, seem sturdy. Saved a bundle and the decorator (and spouse) couldn't tell the difference.

This trim was ordered for the Hyperikon 4" recessed cans. They were for a second project that I was doing. The first required white baffles which I think were also from Torchstar, the difference being the bright steel reflectors rather than white baffles. I thought the construction would be identical... but it isn't quite.I had no issues with anything with this trim... EXCEPT FOR THE PRONGS. These prongs are meant to hold the trim in place, which they do. However, if you simply pop them in, the prongs dig into the recessed can and pretty much refuse to come out once installed. I found that out as I popped one in to compare the look of the reflector vs the white baffle. When I tried to remove it it simply would not come out. It took a herculean effort to get it out.HAVING SAID THAT.... There is a fix. If you have a good electrician's pliers, squeeze the spring-like prongs so they aren't out so far, reducing the spring pressure on the can. Once having done that the trim fits firmly in the can, but doesn't fight coming out. The Torchstar with the white baffles doesn't have the same prong system and didn't need this tweaking.All in all a pretty good value. I might have given it 5 stars if it weren't for those ill-thought-out prongs. You can spend far more for trim rings that aren't any nicer looking. Just test the prongs for installation/removal before you pop 30 of them in without testing. Just saying.

This is a Great product. The inside cone and rim of my old recessed lights discolored and needed replacing after painting my ceiling and this product adds a brighter and elegant shine to my home. These are an exact match to my old ones but with a chrome look. The old ones snap out and the new ones snap in . Less than 5 minutes to install. I have the 6 inch ordered too. Unbelievable low price. I love this product! BTW, they also come with a gasket for wet locations.

I have searched extensively for days, if not weeks to find a decent trim at a reasonable price! These trims don’t get much better than this,.!Perfect fit, at an unbelievable price! I have halo new construction, H99 4”inch IC rated housings. And these trims fit snug, and perfect in place. I’m using PAR 20 LED eco-smart bulbs, from Home Depot. And the trim fits really close and tight to the bulb itself. You’ll probably have to remove the trim down to remove/replace the bulb, but that’s OK in my application. The trim is definitely metal, but I was hoping for a more mirror reflection, but they will do just fine.They look REALLY nice. Fast shipping, and packaged well, And you just can’t beat the price. Looking forward to using the same style trim on my 6 inch recessed lights.

These look really good. I cannot comment on the installation, as I had a contractor perform the work. However, the price point and the quality are unmatched. A similar product is 3x the cost at the local big-box store. Great deal and fast delivery.Recommended!
