The original light in our shower had a metal surround which rusted over time. This was a perfect fit. The surround is quality plastic and the other piece is glass. I have absolutely no concerns about this and feel it was outlive the old one tenfold. The original hardware and housing for the light were still good so I merely just needed the parts that you see in the shower. I couldn't find this in local stores. Another win for Amazon.

The photos and description was not very detailed but the kit also included reflectors which was very useful as the old reflector was wider in diameter so would bending or cutting to closed properly. The spring clip was very strong so more difficult to fold into the housing.

Great finisher, standard fit. Gasket included for moisture entrance prevention. Opacity is perfect for shower application.

Works as expected. The filter is a little more subdued than our builder installed one. My wife likes and we know that's what matters most.😜
