Perfect replacement - no instructions but went smoothly. For anyone not familiar: remove left had set screw, put something like a big hex wrench in old chuck, hit with rubber mallet (normal right hand thread to loosen old), screw on new chuck, install new set screw.

I bought this as a replacement chuck for the factory installed chuck on my Dewalt drill which was hard to turn. This replacement chuck was easy to install but has a considerable amount of runout which produces about a 1/16 " wobble at the end of a standard length 1/8" drill bit. The chuck also has trouble maintaining it's clamp on a bit. It will last for about 5 or 6 holes through 3/4" plywood and then slowly loosen over time.
