This is a new HEAVY DUTY chuck primarily used with Magnetic Drills for easy change to Standard Twist Drilling.
Drill chuck includes the 5/8" drill chuck, weldon shank adapter and a jaw tightening key.
Perfect drill chuck accessory,It can hold 1/8"/3mm through to 5/8"/16mm drill bit.

Capacity
Chuck can be used with the bits shank width from 3-16mm,for clamping drill bits,center drill,deburring tools etc.
3/4" Weldon Shank
Comes with 3/4 inch weldon shank adapter,so your drill press must be 3/4 inch weldon shank type.
Key
The chuck uses a key to tighten,so you can get a serious amount of torque on your drill bits.

Runs true with no noticeable runout. This replaced the chuck in my Vevor mag drill that did not run true.

Fits perfect in an old Duracaft FM-1214, the taper on the arbor is an MT2.Fit and finish is great, time will tell whether it lasts. You do have to seat the arbor in the chuck as it comes in two pieces.

This works great in the tailstock of my Grizzle wood lathe. The Morse Taper #2 shaft was a little long for my tailstock, so I cut off the flattened tang on the end of the chuck, which is not needed for my applications.

I needed to drill 9 holes 5/16 dia. through 3/4 inch of steel plate upside down on the ceiling, so decided to get this adapter to use my cobalt drill bits in my magnetic base Slugger (normally uses rotary broach type cutters with a 3/4" shank).What would have taken me hours and killed me with a hand drill only took about 30 minutes with this adapter in the Slugger working off a manlift.The price was very reasonable for the drill chuck with the adapter and key.
