I used this bowl to hold potato salad for a two-hour party. The bowl kept the potato salad cold. The bowl looked very nice on the food table.

This bowl worked great at our outdoor picnic. Even after the ice melted, the water stayed cold for quite a while.

This really is a nice looking set that worked well for a barbecue I recently purchased them for. The bowls are a very generous size which is great, but it also looked as though I hadn't made enough food when there was actually plenty because the bowls were so empty!The only complaints is that the area for ice doesn't really allow for as much ice as I'd have liked. I also happened to miss that these were not dishwasher safe. That's a bit frustrating given this day and age, and the price. Who wants to do dishes by hand after a party?

Loved this bowl. I have 2 of them for food I want to keep cold for several hours. The outer clear bowl hold ice without leaking. The inner aluminum bowl is sturdy and transfer temperature well. The utensils are a nice plus. They are heavy enough for repeated uses but recommend handwashing as the dishwasher causes them to water spots.

I am very happy with this chiller bowl set. I had an event recently and needed something that looked nice but would also keep my large batch of pasta salad cold. Just place ice in the clear plastic bowl and set the silver bowl on top. This set worked out perfectly. It has a nice lid and serving spoons and the bowls can also be used separately. I know I will gets lots of use out this set this summer.

I know product dimensions are listed so I’ll concede the 4 stars. But if you’re in need for an iced down salad bowl, it’s likely that you’re feeding a large number of folks. Even as a side dish. This bowl was smaller than I needed. Might be sufficient for 6-8 servings I would say.
