This is not a durable item. It can't handle the pressure of pushing down to mash something with it.

I make a dozen deviled eggs for pot luck's. this is the perfect size to mash the yolks without waste. I also use it for making guacamole. I only make enough for me (one avocado) so again, no waste. The best idea is for small potatoes. I boil them (skin on) then make an x on top and slightly press it with this masher to expose some potato. (be sure to spray the masher first., makes perfect ridges for air frying. Delish

This thing was the right size I wanted, but was very weak and cheaply made. The first time I used it, it folded up like aluminum foil. Used to mash anything, it will just bend.

This is perfect for making small batches of guacamole or simply smashing avocados. I wouldn't use to mash potatoes as it's not that sturdy. Easy to clean by hand or in the dish washer.

great for the mashing of small amounts. handle doesn't feel too sturdy though. Concerned it may break in near future while mashing food items. Otherwise a good item to have on hand for the kitchen.
