I regret not getting this potato ricer sooner. The mashed potatoes come out super soft and smooth and just like "in a restaurant". No amount of mashing with a traditional masher would achieve the same result. Do not hesitate to buy this tool. 10 out of 10 recommend.

I’m not a professional cook, I wouldn’t claim to be an amateur either. But it works just as I expected it to. Easy to use, disassemble & clean. Happy with my purchase.

This is my new favorite kitchen tool. All my kids love helping when using it. Lol. It's easy to clean. It's rather big so you'll need a good section of the drawer to store it but it makes some creamy mashed potatoes,

Does the job. Near restaurant quality. Handle edges are a tad sharp.

Full disclosure...my first time using a ricer to make mashed potatoes, so maybe more experience with it would improve my results.1. Only used and washed this ricer twice, but it already has a small rust spot, surprising for stainless steel.2. The description says that the ricer will separate skins from unpeeled cooked potatoes. It does indeed leave the skins behind; however, squeezing the handles together makes a good deal of unriced potato mush ooze out from where the two halves of the ricer are hinged together. (Maybe that's how they all work.) No huge deal, but I wanted all the potatoes to be riced, not a mix of riced and pureed, since the mashed potato snobs out there swear that ricing beats mashing. (Yeah, they were good, but not as good as mashed for my taste. Lumpy with skins is my thing, so what do i know?)Maybe it doesn't squish out spuds at the hinge if they're peeled, but I'll probably never know🙂If I hadn't used it twice, I'd return it.

This is a great utensil for the kitchen. Very sturdy, it has a large area in the scoop area to put a whole potato in it. The potatoes do not escape up the sides, and on top of the scoop like different ricers have for me in the past. It is so less messy to use than other ricers. The mash consistency is perfect for mashed potatoes for dinner or to make lefsa. It is easy to clean up, all parts are attached to each other - important for me as cooking tools sometimes get separated in storage. I would defiantly buy this again.
