The BEST masher as this design is also so much easier on the hands & arms, when mashing potatoes etc. This product is really sturdy & great for heavy use. Just ensure you use it on a Non-scratch saucepan or bowl.

I really like this smasher. My hand can grip the horizontal handle better than a vertical handle.The curve of the smasher part can easily reach the pots bottom edges to smash. The smasher bottom is flat to do a complete job of smashing.

This handheld masher is just as strong and sturdy as a traditional one except that it folds so you can fit it in a drawer. Genius! Very practical. Highly recommend.

This is easier to use than the old-fashioned kind with a long handle. One can get much stronger push/mash with the shorter handle. It does a good job on avocados and other things that need smashing other than just potatoes.

I am unfortunately losing strength in my hands so this masher is much easier to use with its wide handle. It has allowed me to continue making things from scratch. And it has been through the dishwasher several times now & is as sturdy as ever.
