I’ve always loved perfectly mashed potatoes and smooth yams, but manual mashing was a struggle. This ricer changed everything! Pressing your favorite veggies through it produced fluffy, lump-free strands, while yams turned into silky puree with ease. The stainless steel construction is durable, and the extended handle makes pressing effortless. It’s built to last and delivers pillowy perfection every time. If you’re a fan of creamy carbs, this potato ricer is a must-have for your kitchen!

This is a nice potato ricer that is much more substantial than previous potato ricers I've used in the past. The unit is comfortable to use and the fact that it is dishwasher safe is great.Overall I'm really happy with it.

If you've never used a ricer for mashed potatoes you are missing out. No lumps. Smooth potatoes. It is very easy to use. Decide which of the three inserts you want to use (I always liked the smallest hole one. I'm not sure what the difference is. Peel and boil your potatoes. They should be cut in smaller pieces so they don't mush up the side of the ricer. Squeeze the handles and the potatoes are ready to eat.I got this ricer to make Lefse where you need to have no lumps in your potatoes. This does the trick. Very nice.

This is a mostly solid device, the only portion that concerns me long term is the riveted handle connection that wobbles side to side. When used it works like a charm, and I have no complaints with the results it provides. the leverage seems to be just enough that you don't need to be super human to squeeze it. Just not 100% confidant in the handle the way its attached and wobbles.

I’ve always been a sucker for perfectly mashed potatoes and velvety smooth yams. There’s something deeply comforting about a bowl of creamy, buttery carbs, and after years of struggling with manual mashing. The first time I used it, I was skeptical. Would it really make that much of a difference? But as I pressed a batch of steaming Yukon Golds through the ricer, I watched in amazement as they transformed into delicate, fluffy strands. No lumps, no gluey texture and just pure, pillowy goodness. Then came the yams, which can be tricky to mash without turning into a stringy mess. The ricer handled them effortlessly, producing a silky, vibrant puree that blended beautifully with a touch of cinnamon and butter.Durability was another concern of mine, but after putting this thing through multiple rounds of mashing, I can confidently say it’s built like a tank. The stainless steel construction feels solid in my hands, and the extended handle provides enough leverage to make pressing easy, even for tougher vegetables. No bending, no warping; just smooth operation every time.If you love your carbs as much as I do, get this potato ricer for your kitchen.

I ordered this ricer to replace one that had honestly never been that great, in that the handles would flex when I squeezed them hard. However, this one is every bit as solid as it appears in the picture/description. Not only is the metal stronger and heavier, but the handles are also coated with a rubberized material that makes it very comfortable to use. It comes with a nice variety of screens to suit almost any job. I definitely recommend this potato ricer!

I am replacing an ancient, incredibly heavy beast of a ricer with this tool, and I am in love! The weight is perfect. It's not so heavy that you're going to be exhausted after you've used it, and it's not so light that it can't get the job done.It is actually stainless steel. It comes with three different size discs. I've never seen a ricer come with more than one size, but the more I think about the possibilities, the happier I am with this. Just a couple of things that spring to mind- for the fine disc: think gnocchi or potato dumplings; for the medium disc: perhaps baby food, mashed apples, or carrot puree; and for the coarse disc: the obvious mashed potatoes, and I am curious if perhaps this would make a nice spaetzle press. They are just very versatile is the point I am attempting to make. I'm going to share an unsolicited tip: If you cut up your potatoes, and then steam (not boil) them (in an Instant Pot, a steamer, whatever), and then use this potato ricer, you will have the fluffiest mash of your life.My absolute favorite part, though, is the cleanup. The discs are all, obviously, removeable, but so is the hopper. It does snap in and out of the handle frame, and that makes cleanup SO much easier. The cushioned handles are easy on your hands.Last, but not least, if you wish to hang it from a kitchen hook for storage, there is a hanger on it as well.I am definitely a fan of my new potato ricer!
