Works well, but constantly have to clear out the openeings. Kinds gets jammed up (worse with sweet potatoes than regular potatoes; might go back to the food processor for sweet ones)

I was hesitant to purchase this masher, as it looked flimsy. But it is well-made and does a great job mashing pinto beans.

I love this potato masher more than I would have thought possible. I have carpal tunnel in both hands so using an ordinary masher was painful. I actually was looking for a new one with an ergonomic handle or something, but this one caught my eye. It is quite a bit larger than the usual, North the handle and the masher part. The wide, horizontal, non slip handle makes mashing potaters a dream. It is now so, so easy & quick to make creamy mashed potatoes - like just a few minutes, if that. Plus, it's a little bit fun, I have to say. It is super sturdy; I feel like this guy is going to last for ever, unlike my very recent ex of 15 years, who incidentally hasn't been even a little bit fun for quite a while. Also unlike.him, this tool is handy for multiple tasks according to the item page: avocados, cauliflower, graham crackers and more can be mashed and smashed with ease.

This masher/ricer is great for mashing potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc. It's well made. Easy to clean. Plus, you won't need to worry about scratching up your Nonstick pans.This type of masher is hands down my favorite. I've never understood how/why the loop masher became the go to instrument. This masher is light weight but very sturdy for doing the job.You'll be happy that you purchased this type of masher once you see how creamy your mashed potatoes come out compared to the loop. You'll also be using much less effort when mashing.
