I've had my eye out for one of these that can be used in my nonstick cookware. I happened upon this one day when I wasn't even searching for one. This handle is great and the tool itself looks like it will hold up for years to come. I'm pleased and would recommend it to anyone who prefers their tators smashed as opposed to whipped.

I scrapped my first review and here's why. Initially the masher arrived with a defect. It was a shame because I liked it so much. I returned it for a refund and was planning on giving it another try by ordering another one. However, after the seller read my review. The seller contacted me right away wanting to make my purchase a positive one. They immediately sent me another masher at no cost to me! This seller stands behind their products which I appreciate. I highly recommend this masher. I loved it from the start. Its a bit pricey but overall it's worth it. The silicone protects pans from scratches, quality is great, very sturdy, nice grip. The masher slots are spaced nicely, making it easier to clean. Much better than mashers that have tiny holes. I'm planning on buying more of these as gifts. Five Star Seller! This is a great masher. I read reviews on cheaper ones. It is a larger one, perfect for making my refried beans. Works great in a large skillet or pot. Well made with heavy silicon coverings on the masher that would impact the bottom of those expensive non-stick cookware pots and pans. You'll love this one!

I've had a lot of potato mashers over the years ... I use them a lot for various food purposes ... THIS masher is sturdy ... solid ... great quality & the silicone ends are gonna be so good for my pots & pans ... just wish this 'silicone revolution' had happened a few years ago ... before current set got so may scratches & dings. Just being 'careful' isn't enough ... that silicone really does make a difference!!Definite Recommendation from me!!.

I took a chance on this, based on the item's marketing & reviews...IT HAS TURNED-OUT GREAT!It is well-made, comfortable, does its job, and was much-less expensive than the test kitchen's recommended one.I usually go with their choices, because it pays-off in the long run, but my need for this item is infrequent (Mashing tomatoes in a big non-stick fry pan), and this looked good in the pictures?Well, it is a very well made & serviceable specialty assistant in my kitchen!The molded 'plug', where the wires enter the handle is a plus, should you get that deep into your work, come cleaning time?-I put the money I saved on this towards some 100% buckwheat soba noodles...but that's another recipe!Stay well!
