I bought this for my newly-constructed HVAC closet. You can no longer buy thresholds like this at the big box stores so I was really happy to find this on Amazon. Gives me a really good seal and was easy to install.

I needed a new threshold, and this model looked exactly like what was previously installed, and probably is. MD seems to be the big name in such products.The issue I had is that for who knows why, the screw holes are located 1/4” closer to the end, as well as located differently along the row too. So it’s very difficult to use the existing holes in the floor. I ended up having to drill new holes and use other screws.Since MD has changed their hole placement, it would be helpful if they also sold thresholds without pre-drilles holes, then you could just measure where you need the holes and drill them yourself, which isn’t difficult. What is difficult is drilling new holes in the floor, so close to the old ones.

Very easy to install. Cut with hack saw and installed with concrete tap cons. Used a concrete drill bit. Works great. Prevents critters from coming under screen door down here in Florida. Quality product. Would buy again. This was used for the screen door for my lanai.

This piece is a no brained to seal the bottom of my back door. I cut it to size and it seal perfectly. One thing that I did was to replace the screws that it came with, I used Topcons (concrete screws).

I looked at the other Home Improvement stores and while all of them list the item none had it in stock. My concern is protecting the flexible strip so it is not destroyed in less than a year by people crushing it like in another product. So far so good.In stock at Amazon and a better price.
