I have an addiction to lunch containers and Bentos. I must have at least 30 to 40 lunch containers. This is my favorite one for salads. Great size and keeps it cool. Leak proof as well. Love it!

This is actually the 3rd one I bought! I originally bought one for use as a dog water bowl for travel. But I liked it so much I bought additional ones in a different color (so I would not mix them up) for me!

I purchased this lunch box only because the inside of the lid is also stainless steel. One that I purchased 2 years ago is still good but I purchased another one 2 months ago. Two hinges of the lid have already broken and now lunch box is totally useless as there is no way the box can close. So disappointed. I need to resume my search for a lunch box that has 100% steel interior.

So, I had hoped to use this for my large salads that I take to work for lunch. This is leak proof as I put water in it and dumped it upside down to see if it leaked and it did not. I just wish it was a bit larger to use for a meal salad. Instead I put greens, avocado, and protein. I have to put additional veggies in another container. But it us easy to clean and gets the job done. Please make a larger one.

This holds a lot of salad and keeps it pretty cold until lunch time. Not sure if it is leak proof with liquids, haven't tried it yet. One thing to note: the rubber gasket definitely should be removed, washed, and dried after each use or it will trap water and other yuckies in the space underneath it and get FUNKY as I found out. Kudos to the Lunch Bots who sent me a new gasket free of charge when I let them know that I wasn't aware it was removable as there is nothing stated in the item description and it didn't easily come out when I first tugged on it, so I thought it was glued on. I was also able to remove the moldy smell by soaking the original gasket in a bowl of vinegar overnight.

I eat the equivalent of one head of lettuce per day over two meals. I cut my lettuce several times with fork and knife to spread the dressing evenly and to ensure all leaves are bite size. This requires a sturdy, flat bottomed bowl. However, salad bowls are typically rounded at the bottom. My wife and I searched for the best bowl to use with a half head of lettuce, but wherever we looked all we saw were the typical bowls with small disk bottom and very curved walls. Were we to use any of these, the lettuce would spill uncontrollably as I cut it.After my wife suggested we go to Petco to find the perfect salad bowl, I knew I had to do some research. It looked like the LunchBots Salad Bowl Lunch Container was just what I needed and so I ordered the 6 cup version. It was nice that it was lightweight, making it easy to clean, and made of stainless steel to keep it shining. Although I don't use it as a lunch box, the lid clamps nicely and protects the bowl from dust and other contaminants. I do wish that they would come up with an 8 cup (2 quart) bowl in the same style. It's everything I had been looking for!And yes, my wife really did suggest that we have a look at Petco's flat bottomed bowls. :)
