These are the perfect size serving bowls. They arrived in perfect condition and always enhanced my dining table and buffet settings. I use them for appetizers or side dishes when I am having casual elegant get togethers with family and friends.Although, I do have a set of plates in this same style to match. This style of the bowls makes them versatile so that they work well with other styles of dinnerware also. For instance, sometimes I use them when I want to make the presence of gold minimal. So, I may use solid white porcelain plates. Other times, I will use the matching plates or some other white colored plates with gold accents. But regardless of the style I choose, I am always amazed and pleased how well these serving bowls fit in with many different styles and settings and still manage to look so elegant and effortless.Of course, I cannot go without mentioning their quality and durability. The white glaze is immaculate and free of any air bubbles or imperfections. Whereas the gold does not fade. All in all, they have maintained their beauty well. Although, I do want to emphasize that I wash them by hand, as I do most of my nice quality dinnerware items.In closing, I have seen these bowls at some retail stores on occasion and they cost a tad less than these. However, those stores do not keep regular inventory of these items. It is a hit and a miss and left up to chance. But what I like about ordering them here is that they are in stock, readily available, and arrive quickly usually within a day or two.

I really love these bowls the size, color, and shape are as they described in the descriptions. The only thing that can be better for me is the weight of the bowls if it is be lighter it is easier to carry it.

These are some really flashy bowls. I think the aesthetic actually looks even more impressive than the pictures, mostly because of how the gold looks coming down the sides like that.The problem with mine is that the gold came a bit scratched and scuffed in various places. It doesn't fully ruin the look but it sucks having to deal with this condition when it's supposed to be new. I'd recommend these if you can get a good conditioned one.
