I bought a set of these about 3 years ago and they’ve become one of those little things I’ll probably use forever. They really shine as key rings (never going back to those metal circles you have to pry apart to get keys on and off) but they come in handy in other ways too.

I have used one of these since the 90's. Unlike a split ring, keys are easy to put on and take off. I used to hook my car key to my swim suit when I took my dog to Wrightsville Beach. I love a good gadget, a good tool. I have probably given 50 of these to friends and family. I just bought 5 more to have on hand.

I previously used the standard cable loops with a twist connection...but they kept loosening over time, disconnecting and scattering my keys on the ground at random moments. I tried to make a habit of tightening the connector every time I used it, but I knew it was only a matter of time before I ended up losing keys because of that, so I started looking for a similar, but more secure option. These work perfectly: like the regular cable loops, they help keep the keys easy to use, simple to remove, and ensure they take up minimal space in your pocket. Opening and closing the loop is a little tricky—which I like because it's extremely unlikely it will happen by accident: you poke the connector toward the middle of the loop, allowing it to bend 90 degrees at the connection point, then you slide the male end as far as it will go away from the connection point, and pull straight up and out of the female end. Reverse the process to reconnect, and pull the connectors until they snap straight.Since some have complained of manufacturing defects, before you discard the packaging make sure all of the loops connect and disconnect as designed. All of mine worked perfectly.

Lucky Line 5" Flex-O-Loc Cable Key RingI've been using one of these as my main key ring for about six months now, the quality seems to be excellent, quick and easy to change keys but secure. My wife liked them and started using one too. I'd be surprised if they don't last us at least 10 years.

I have bought this product many times in the past because they are great key rings and I have given them to friends and used them for other purposes, but my latest order came with 2 red key rings (see the photo) that have been incorrectly manufactured. Amazon's return system is inconvenient because I have to send back the whole order to the US when only the 2 red key rings are useless. As always the red ones are my favourite colour! Amazon's automated system should allow you to complain, submit photos and allow them to send out new items rather than insist you waste your time by sending back items that are only good for being destroyed. It is the one failing of Amazon that I have identified in my years of use.

Absolutely love these things. Virtually indestructible. The latching system isn't much bigger around than the cable itself (there's a similar product that uses a screw-on system to join the 2 ends, but the collar that has the female screw end makes a big "bump" in the loop that keys/items can catch on - that's never happened to me with these)., allowing keys/items to easily move around the loop. I carry one every single day, and I've been using it for literally years and the thing looks brand new and likely ready to go for a few more decades. It's TOUGH - you'd need a wire cutter to cut through it. No way I could see it breaking without purposefully CUTTING it. Not many products survive daily use for so long! Very easy to unlatch quickly, for example if you leave your car with a valet, yet I've never had one of them open up accidentally. I have them all around my house for various keys, and as I mentioned, I use one every single day with my daily pocket keys. Great product.

(I wrote the following review for my favorite keyring, and in that review I explain why the flex-o-loc is still my 2nd favorite keyring of all time.)This is my favorite keyring of all time, by far. My old favorite, for many years, has been the lucky line flex-o-loc 5 inch. That key ring is still very very good, and it is perfect for adding or removing anything from any specific location on your ring of keys quickly and easily. It's one weakness, though--and it is a *huge* weakness--is that sooner or later that flex-o-loc will undo itself in your pocket and send your keyring stuff flying everywhere when you go to grab your keys out of your pocket. If that is your exact issue, that you want your keyring stuff to stay on the keyring for sure, no matter what (while still letting you easily add or remove things from the keyring), then this BESYL stainless steel key chain carabiner is perfect.YES, it could pinch you. It has never pinched me, and won't ever pinch me, because I don't try to use this thing with one hand. With two hands and some respect, you will be fine.YES, you cannot add or remove things at just any location you like. This is a very minor concern for me, however, because I almost always add or remove just the one thing, and so I add it last so that I can easily remove it first.THIS PRODUCT WILL NEVER, NEVER LOSE ANYTHING, EVER. What an ingenious keyring it is. The keyring with the power to pinch you is also the keyring that has your back, and will never lose your keys. I trust this more, as my edc keyring, than I trust anything that is *on* my edc keyring, and I trust each of those things with my life, all the time.Make sure to use small keyrings as an intermediate connector between your actual keys and your BESYL keyring. It isn't meant to hold keys directly, although it can, and you don't want to do that to yourself. A key, or keys, on a circular keyring will go through the carabiner opening very easily, but even more importantly it will go through the inner stopper mechanism *much* more easily than a key will. That inner stopper presses against the outer keyring with a fair amount of force. Because it is angled to let things in quite easily, keyrings slide into the inner circle almost effortlessly. It takes a little bit of care and effort to get them back out past that stopper again, but with a keyring this is quite easy.I wouldn't change a single thing about this keyring. I love it. I recommend the three pack because even if you only have two friends in the whole world, you're going to need three.:-)
