UV light base was very tight and did not work. I returned the light as defective.

Started out as only one star because this bulb is not the proper size for use in UV100A1059 although the ad claims that it is compatible. A second star is barely there and only because the bulb did turn on - once I managed to get it seated, which took a while...The base of this bulb is slightly larger than the Philips lamp that came in my Honeywell UV100A1059.It binds up in the socket well before the lamp pins reach the corresponding contacts in the socket. I was able to file down the bulb base enough to gain the extra 1/8" or so that was needed to establish electrical contact. I probably should have returned this one but decided to give it a go instead. Regardless, I do not recommend the LSE branded replacement bulb for this application. Out of the box, it does not fit the socket. Furthermore, it is far too dangerous to try to grip it by the glass tubes to press, wiggle and work it into the socket.

As advertized and it keeps "dirty-sock syndrome" (bad smells from mold growing on the heat pump's internal heat exchanger) at bay for a full year. Be sure to replace it, as the UV it emits falls off quickly after 12 months or so.

Replaces my original bulb perfectly. Other complained of not fitting properly, but mine fit with no problems and has been working great for months.

Does not fit properly and will not light up- too large. I cannot recommend this bulb.

Got this to replace a bulb in our Honeywell UV100E3007 that had burned out. This new bulb fits perfectly and "went right back to work" immediately. Surprisingly simple to install, too. Just slips right into the handle/base.
