This item clearly states it is a replacement bulb for an Aquascape Ultraklear 2500 but it is too small for that unit.

I purchased my uv light in July 2022. It worked well for about a month. Then I noticed in august my breaker kept shutting off. I did the process of unplugging the different units for my water garden and found that it was my filter with the UV light. Not having the time to address it I just left it unplugged. Now that I’m putting everything away for the winter, I took my filter to clean and pack away and decided to see what the problem was with the Uber light. I noticed it continuously flickers. I read that a flickering light is a sign that it’s going to burn out soon, but it’s only 3 months old. What do I do?

I used this as a replacement bulb for the original one that came with the filter and as soon as I replaced it I noticed immediate changes in my pond water quality.

Perfect replacement bulb. Packed well and works great. My pond filter was lacking a UV light for a month longer than I wanted it to, so this bulb had some catching up to do and it has worked fantastic.
