I installed this handrail onto the steps that are in front of an old trailer on our ranch that my wife does her crafts in.I set a 4"x4" post onto the runner of the steps using 3/8"x7" carriage bolts.I set the handrail top edge at 40" above the tread height of the stairs.The handrail itself is sturdy, I used red LocTite thread locker on the two bolts that secures the handrail to it's mounting plate.Installation is easy, six screws secures the handrail!The handrail powder coating looks good and is scratch resistant, added safety and a good value.All necessary hardware for mounting is included!

This short hand rail is a wonderful mobility aid.Everything you need to securely mount the hand rail is included in the box (minus the drill, of course). The finish is neat, all the welds are clean, and the design is sleek. The diameter of the hand rail is very comfortable and lets you get a good grip. We mounted this next to a three-step entry stairs and it has made a huge difference. Our guests can now safely come down the steps when they enter our home, instead of holding on to the wall.I was very pleased with this hand rail and would recommend it.

This product was received as part of a promotion. We're getting a new house, and the new house we are getting doesn't have any handrails to help people get up onto the front porch. This handrail is the perfect solution for what we were looking for! It's got an excellent build quality, comes with mounting hardware, comes with a masonry drill bit, looks sleek and nice, functions well for its job (i.e. assists us in getting in the house), is sturdy, and the installation is super simple. It took my husband maybe 15 minutes to put it in. Great product!

This is exactly the kind of thing I've been looking for! I have a backyard with a lower area and an upper area, with a couple of uneven steps between them. I have a fenced in garden that's just before the two steps - this provided a place to install this perfectly sized and designed handrail. One of my best friends had suffered a stroke a few years ago and has had to navigate this area and it's been nerve wracking for both of us. With this VERY STURDY handrail, he can navigate the stairs with much greater confidence and safety. Since no one is getting any younger, having this installed gives me peace of mind for myself and all my guests.

This well constructed and sturdy railing is precisely what I required. With a back door that opens to two concrete steps, it was making me anxious of falling and just having this easily installed railing is precisely what I needed. It's reassuring having it there if I need it. Well made and nice looking and fits the bill! I highly recommend!

Once you get to the top of your attic drop down ladder there isn’t a railing to grab onto and keep you safe. Going back down can be difficult and unsafe as well. We bought the 2-pack and mounted these rails on the floor of the attic, one on each side of the opening. Positioned such that the angled rail faces forward as you climb up. Fantastic solution!

My elderly mother is a little unsteady on her feet but mostly she worries that she will fall over even if she’s not likely to. Mobility aids like this handrail can make the world of difference to an elderly person’s confidence when they are moving around their home and garden.I’ve noticed with my mum, she is more concerned in areas where there is simply nothing to hold on to. Moving around furniture is easy but outside in the garden is a real challenge. My mum is fine walking around the garden with her walking stick but we have a stepped area and by installing this handrail onto an existing post this has given her more confidence to explore the garden further. The handrail is easy to install and works well.
