Installation Steps
- Step 1: Install the connector.
Install the connectors of the column and the handrail pipe with screws.
- Step 2: Make adjustments.
Insert the connecting pipe into the column connector and insert the column into the connector of the handrail pipe.Put the whole parts on the steps and adjust to the appropriate position.
- Step 3:Fix angle.
Mark the locations of 8 holes in the ground. Then use a electric drill to drive the self-tapping screws into the 2 side holes of the connector to fix the angle. (The angle can not be adjusted after this step).
- Step 4: Drill holes on the ground.
Select suitable accessories and punch holes according to different ground conditions.
Cement/Brick Floors: Drill holes with the provided drill. Wooden floors: To the next step.
- Step 5: Fix the columns on the ground.
Cement floor/brick floor: Fix the columns with expansion screws.
Wooden floor: Fix the columns with self-tapping screws.
- Step 6: Place the cover-up.
Fasten the cover-up to the bottom of the column to cover the punched hole.

My mom for 96 gets around great. But for a peace of mind, I wanted the handrail for her. My nephew Justin installed it for his Gram. The only problem his drill was getting hot, so when he suggested buying another drill bit. I apologize for not knowing my tools but he did use another one, so maybe an impact drill. After getting the drill bit the installation went quickly. Another customer review had suggested this handrail over a similar one for a lower cost. But for the same quality of product. So I thank him for that. It is a very sturdy rail and looks great .

Installation was very workable. The railing and posts were well made, solid and nice appearance.Important to know that your initial measurements be accurate, the number of steps for the length of railing ordered. No missing parts and well packaged, first rate.

We bought this rail while buying our home and the insurance company said we needed a rail in the back for the four steps back there. We ordered the nicest simplest one and got to work. We quickly found out the the tool they sent and the one we bought were no match to the concrete we needed the rail into. We hired a professional but it looks great and it's tough.

The railing is well made and well thought out for easy installation. The powder coating is excellent and the handrail has a nice feel with a good griping area. The package is complete, lag bolts for wood, expansion bolts for concrete with a socket w/inset magnet (that fits in an electric drill or impact driver) for driving them, allen wrench, open end wrench (not to sure what use it would be), and concrete drill bit. The hardware was well made and finished in black where appropriate and all holes matched up nicely and threads were clean and readily accepted the screws. I would definitely buy this product again.
