Easy Installation
It is best to attach the stainless steel handrail to a stable wall next to a door. The handrail should be attached above a small staircase with 2-3 steps so that the handle bar is within easy reach.

I purchased this for the outside front door leading to the front porch. My elderly mom-in-law was having trouble leaving the front door to get to her rocking chair. This is just perfect for her especially since it has grips on the end of it. It is well made and very sturdy. Installation was going easy until I got to one of the screws on the bottom. Because the bar angels down, you have to sink the screws at a angel using a power or regular screw driver. Then you start stripping the head of the screw. I ended up using a 45 degree hand held driver which took a long time given the size of the screw.Hint: Before installing, mark the location where the screws are going to go and drill a pilot hole for at least, the first hole below the bar.I would buy this again.

The screws included in the package stripped very easily. Had to use higher quality screws to mount the handrails.

Item was just what I needed and expected. Screws that were provided were of low quality as the heads wanted to round off as I was screwing in. Very poor quality of metal. Handrail itself is very good quality

My wife wanted a railing for the three steps coming from our finished garage into the breezeway.This is s breeze to install and give us room underneath the store a couple items unlike a full railing would allow. Couldn't be happier with this product.5-6 screws using the stud next to the door and it's solid as can be.

We put these in our garage, by the steps leading into the house. My elderly dad now has no problem climbing the 3 steps to come in inside.Installation was easy, just be sure to screw them into a stud.

Bought this for the garage entrance as a traditional hand rail would have been in the way for the car door. This went up easy and as secured in the door frame stud, is solid. It has been nice to have for our older family members.
