I added this rail to the steps on my back porch to make it easier to walk up and do the steps. Looks nice against my brick house and contained all the mounting hardware. The only problem was the cover to the mounting area..did not snap on or stayed in place so I ended up putting some ALIEN tape in side to keep it attached. Has worked so far!

This was added to a garage stairway to match previous ones in the home. It is heavy and need to be secured to a stud to support its weight and the weight of user. Pleased with the outcome.

I installed this handrail on my house,I am very pleased with it.The only problem l had with it is the caps that cover the screws, there was no way to secure those caps. They need to make them where they either snap over the wall plates or put a set screw on the caps where they can be fastened. It’s a shame that you have to gerry rig them in place. The rail itself is very sturdy and looks good but those caps are a very poor design!

I love the quality of this cast iron railing. It came with screws to anchor it to wood, PLUS compression sleeves to put it on concrete or masonry. Now, for the rub: You need to install the brackets that come with it onto the railing. They provided screws to do that. One bracket went on fine, though it takes a bit of effort to get the screw in with the hex wrench provided. But the second bracket didn't attach at all to the railing. It appeared that they accidentally powdercoated the threads inside the fitting where the screws go. I didn't have time to send it back (before final inspection) so I paid $20 at Lowe's for a tap to remove the paint from the threads. That worked fine on one side but the tap broke off in the second, and I was unable to removed it. I ended up having a carpenter use a drill and self-tapping screw to make a new hole in both the plate and mount. Total cost was probably $55 over the cost of the item. But it is on and looks great. Oh, one other issue was that the round cover plate provided to cover the bolt heads didn't fit snuggly, and kept sliding down the bracket ar. I fixed that with caulk and tape to hold the plate in place while it set.

Replaced two wooden handrails on my Spanish style front entry and porch area. Easy to install with the provided hardware and feels very secure. Happy with the purchase and quality of the items. Thanks.
