This handrail is strong, attractive, and easy to install. My wife has been wanting an alternative to the wooden handrail adjacent to our front steps. The pressure treated wood can get kind of splintery and so, it isn't very inviting to users. I left the original wooden handrail in place but installed this one just below it. The textured bronze finish blends with the overall appearance of our entry way and provides a more comfortable place for people to hold when going up or down the stairs. The product arrived promptly, was well packaged, included all necessary mounting hardware, and included installation instructions. We are very satisfied with the handrail and can recommend it to others.

I had hoped to use this rail on the front of my log home but the one that was sent is too short. When I placed the order, I requested a 4ft rail. I was sent a 3ft rail instead. I was able to use it on my back porch. It's very sturdy and well made, It's attractive. I only wish I had been sent what I wanted to order.

Everyone loves the new railings in the Wilkins Community House but we are missing the center point brackets that are listed as being part of the six foot and up railing kits. Other than that we are very satisfied with the way these work and feel.

The product quality is excellent. The aluminum rail is very thick, sturdy, and well finished. Customer service was also very professional and responsive . My project consisted of 2 flight of stairs, one of 7ft span, and 2nd one of 8 ft span, so I ordered 3 rails, one 7f rail (which already included a middle mount) , and two 4ft rails ( to be connected to cover 8 ft span). These are the main points of my experience:1) Seller does not provide any way to order anything larger than 7ft, so I contacted them to inform of my intended use of the two 4 ft rails, and the need for an extension piece, as well as a mount for middle post. Customer service fully understood and immediately shipped these extra-items at no cost ( very much appreciated).2.- The delivery time was too excessive. Ordered on OCt 21 and rails did not arrive until the 27th. Additionally, only the two 4 ft rails arrived, the 7ft rail never arrived. It got stuck/lost somewhere in Amazon fulfillment center and never arrived. Ended up cancelling that one order.3.- When I contacted seller customer service about missing item they were very responsive, but could not do much given that item was stuck with Amazon. On their suggestion I ended up ordering another 7 ft rail while waiting for lost one. This one ended arriving 4 days later and that is when I cancelled the lost one.4.- After almost two weeks of wait time I finally called contractor to install handrails on deck, and find out that the ordered 4 ft segments are not true 4 ft (48 inches) but instead they are only 41 inches in length and so there is not way i can use them on my 8 ft span flight of stairs.5 - One final point to make is that website shows installation kit including screws as part of mounting hardware. It shows wood screws, as wells as what seem to be self-tapping metal screws, yet on arrival I only found wood screws included. When contacted, customer service indicated that metal screws ( my case - aluminum posts) were up to the customer to procure. For what is paid I would expect all proper screws to be included to match color and cover the most common options ( wood, concrete, and metal) (or to add such options at time of ordering, if they don't want to include all three ).A this time, after spending two weeks for all parts to arrive, having to re-order another rail what not an option i wanted to follow, so I decided to just cancel all orders, and look for another solution. I am sure Customer service would be willing to work with me, but I wasted too much time already, and it is completely unacceptable to describe so prominently the rail length in ft, and inches, only to send one much shorter. To summarize, and be fair to sellers product: The rails themselves are beautiful, very sturdy, high quality, and very good finish, but I would triple, directly with vendor, the length being ordered ( something that should not be needed if description of production clearly states it - in my case, 48 inches, which ended up not being true at all). The seller's site is not well thought, since it can't handle anything larger than 7 ft. (requires contacting seller otherwise). Shipment time is also too long. No justification for a 5-7 day wait.

In terms of look and finish this handrail doesn't look as good as a custom manufactured piece, but it's also cheaper. It's basically a tube with two end pieces. The tube can be shortened. Painting it will approve the appearance. Easy to install and budget friendly solution. Five stars from me.

This Meranti Aluminum Handrail for Stairs (with ADA Compliant Wall Returns) is sturdy, functional and attractive. I am surprised by how heavy this product is for aluminum. It is definitely not going to bend or flex at all. The end cap returns are sturdy and the installation is easy. The length of the pipe should be sloped to run parallel to the stairs but, bear in mind that it should also be screwed into studs - not just drywall. Get a stud finder and mark your studs on the wall with a pencil. In the US, they are usually 16 inches on center. Then plan your attachments accordingly. If you need to cut your pipe an inch or two to ensure that you hit a stud, that will be a wise move.

I wasn't sure if I needed a 3 or 4 foot handrail for our entrance. The reason is that we have only 1 step and then, the "porch" (all cement). So I got both. The step is extra deep so I needed to use the 4' rail. I will be using this handrail in a vertical installation. My sister has balance issues and I'm going to mount this railing on a cabinet that is right next to her entry (from the garage) steps. She already has a handrail on the left so this will be just extra safety. It's well built and very attractive. A plus when safety was our first concern!
