Tested this 6.6FT metal handrail to replace the old builder-grade wooden one in my 90s-built home. Super sturdy, non-slip grip, and easy to mount. Love the square design—it gives my stairs a cool industrial vibe. Totally refreshed the look!

Assembly and installation was incredibly easy and straightforward. Fit perfectly. It does have some flexibility, but not bad. Sturdy. Durable material. Lightweight. Looks great!

Product arrived in perfect condition and with all parts necessary for install. Install probably took 15 minutes (8 ft) and required two people to make sure the connection piece was tight. Rail holds tightly to the wall but there is a bit of movement and the consequent metallic sound at the connection pieces, but it’s not excessive. The black finish looks nice and the grip is without slip.

Good points: Very easy to install. This railing is made of heavy duty steel and attaches so well to the wall that it should be able to handle a lot of weight put on it without a problem. The rail extends far enough from the wall so that there is no problem easily grasping it without your fingers or any part of your hand making contact with the adjacent wall. Stylish looking. I ordered the 8 foot length and it is 8 feet long. Being steel and fully painted, it can be used outdoors also. It might prove a bit of a problem with slipping if wet, however. Not a problem with me as I installed in indoors. Just a thought.Bad points: None.A very good buy all around.

This solid steel handrail is a perfect addition to our steep basement stairs. We already have a handrail on one side, but thought we'd add one to the other as well. It feels heavy duty and doesn't move as you support your weight walking downwards. Can be installed horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, so lots of options for a handrail or other items such as a clothing rack. Will support up to 600 lbs. All the hardware is hidden behind the pipes so the installation looks clean and professional, and it has a sleek modern look.

Good quality hand rail. The metal isn't some thin, tin feeling rail that feels like it will bend or break if they get any small amount of abuse.The kit comes with screws and drywall anchors, but I don't suggest you attempt to anchor this in drywall.
