Excellent new keyless chuck for my powerful 1/2" hammer drill. All three of my 1/2" drills are "Hammer Drills" and they have been used as such. The old B&D Quantum wouldn't budge after 32 years. The Porter Cable cordless didn't budge. But, I bought it for my not so old Chicago Electric which replaced my old Black and Decker. It didn't want to budge. So, I checked out some ideas on YouTube and got out my 1/2" Rigid impact wrench and a 3/8" Allen Wrench with a 3/8" base and adapter and a spanner wrench to fit the shaft and took it off in a minute. Whacking things with a hammer isn't a good idea, I bent the spanner wrench trying that method. Impact wrench will do the job. Wear a glove when you tighten down the chuck since it will get hot in your hand in a second when it slips while you are squeezing it.
