A few hours of drumming was all it took to wear through the flimsy plastic of these things. 40 plus years of drumming and I’ve actually never seen this happen before. Wore clean through and sawed off the top of the stem. The heat created actually melded the stem onto my stand and had to work diligently to get it off. Maybe it’s ok for certain genres, but definitely not metal/ hard rock,I will spend a few dollars more next time for a more solid, long lasting product.
