This is a wonderful addition to your set if you're wanting to be in closer range to other half of drum set. It is a little odd to set up and get accustomed to at first but in time is almost second nature. There are other (cheaper) versions of this component but i read enough about it to be convinced it should be in my arsenal.

Interstate Music wins! They're competitively pricing their merchandise and delivering promptly. The keys to success. I will look for their store again when buying music gear. As for the DW DWCP9502LB8 Hi-Hat Stand, make sure you get the 9502 model as it has a longer mounting bar. At least I found it useful. Smooth operating remote HI Hat stand. I center mounted the Hi Hat in the middle of the kit. Open handed drumming freedom at its best.

Feels the same as a standard hi hat stand maybe even better since it's very flexible with the two legged swivel pedal stand.

I was pining over this unit for a while now, and now I have it, I rule! Seriously, it is a great addition to any kit, smooth operation, easy install. (Once you find the room to squeeze it in) All in all perfect for my setup..

Love it! Exactly what I was looking for. Cable is super smooth. Very sturdy and and a very high quality piece of equipment. DW is the best. May need to buy another one for the side of the kit haha.

DW hardware is the best of the best. I never used to think that hardware mattered that much but now I see the error of my ways. Good hardware actually even makes you a better player. I'm so glad that I got this remote hihat stand. It is the heart of my set up and it helped me finally build the rig that I had envisioned in my mind for years.
