I started out with a hi-hat stand half the price of this stand and felt I was fighting the stand more than working on my technique. After reviewing the next step up price-wise, I took at chance on this hi-hat stand and, as an intermediate drummer with many years of drumming under my belt I feel my own technique will be the limiting factor for years to come with this hi-hat stand

good stand for the $$. I use this on my small eletric practice set with a Yamaha RHH135.it does well what I need it to do.But hey, its Tama so you know its good!
