A scaled down version of the popular line-up of 6000 series retro-styled, flush-base hardware, 6000 series ultralight stands utilize smaller diameter, lighter gauge steel tubing and a low mass tube joint for optimal portability. Other Marquis features include a new Glide Tilter for exacting adjustment of cymbal and snare drum angles. The high ratings and comments about stability on this stand baffle me.When I set it up, it's a good looking stand, and seems solid.It has nice adjustments for the basic stand it is and you can't beat the weight.But when I started playing it (and I am a light player, using 13" HH on the 2 and 4 on a quiet song ) the thing sways back and forth.The description says in can be used in a rock situation, which boggles my mind.I am a fan of DW stands and really wanted this to work for a bop kit I have, but I need something more solid. Going up to the non UL version and hoping for the best.

Principal reason for buying was the weight. It serves the purpose - good action for a lighter stand, but tends to rock slightly. Overall, very satisfied with the quality/price.

Overall a nice stand. I’ve had a couple instances of the rod becoming stuck while utilizing the pedal. It’s as if something catches the cymbal and knocks it off the felt and the the pedal won’t return to its resting position. I’ve never dealt with this issue even on cheap stands. I do like the low profile legs. Clutch is not the best. It does rock around a bit if you really get to using a lot of left foot.

Se volete giocarci è fatto apposta, leggero ed inutile. Non è utilizzabile per chi suona veramente, instabile e poco affidabile.Il venditore pessimo, non ha voluto rimborsare perchè scaduti i termini, anche spiegando loro che questo era un regalo per un batterista che ne ha valutato la pochezza e con grande imbarazzo me lo ha restituito, chiaramente in tempi non gestibili. Ma non era stata rimossa neanche una targhetta... Venditore cancellato!

さすがDWという印象です。とにかく軽い。使いやすいです。強いて難を挙げるなら脚先のゴムカバーが接着されておらず外れやすいことですが、自分で留めてしまえばいいので問題はないと思います。全体として素晴らしいスタンドでした。

Ero molto indeciso prima di acquistarlo, in quanto dubitavo della stabilità visto il peso, ma ho avuto modo di ricredermi.Stabile e funzionale e oltretutto leggero!!!!!Consegna senza ritardi e condizione imballo perfetta.Lo consiglio per alleggerire il peso dell'attrezzatura, sono intenzionato a sostituire l' hardware completo con questa serie!!!

I have become a huge fan of DW. I have even realized that the high cost is the price for owning the best hardware made. I was able to pick this stand up for $100. My latest Pearl Roadshow kit is small, its made to be small, so I picked up a smaller footprint stand, as I am doing across the kit. Plus, I'm old, 55 y/o, need less weight to haul. This stand is stripped down and sturdy. I love it. Worth the money!!!

Brilliant stand. I replaced a DW Series 9000 Hi-Hat stand for the UL and when it comes to carrying your drum hardware from gig to gig, the lightness of the UL makes all the difference. I have now changed all of my hardware to the 6000 series because of this. There is one foot - cymbal weight adjustment which is great. No tiny hex bolts to mess around with when fine tuning with the likes of the 9000 series. It adds a 'retro' look to your kit if your into that. Highly recommend this stand.
