love the gold color, a bit expensive but the good products are. amazing selfies, make sure to hold the stick in the proper manner or it will show in photos. i use this while diving, very simple. easy to function, sturdy - it's gone at least 100ft, if not deeper, without issues. most of it's life is in saltwater -- gulf of mexico(america?), atlantic ocean, florida springs, pacific ocean (hawaii) -- easy to fit in travel bags, obviously. giving 4 stars because the grip at the bottom does slide up sometimes when im trying to extend the stick, but i can easily slide it back down into place.

I was excited to get this gold edition selfie stick and liked the length vs. the smaller selfie stick that was included with my Insta360 X3 camera bundle but the gold edition selfie stick quickly disappointed.I had been skiing with the selfie stick attached to the Insta360 ski pole mount and had used it on a few runs. I found the tension to close the selfie stick to be much stiffer than the original selfie stick. The gold edition seemed a bit flimsier and finally bent and broke when I was collapsing it one day. I would not advise using this selfie stick for this reason and will revert to my original that seems to have a sturdier build.
