This selfie stick is great for 360 cameras such as my Insta360.The selfie stick is made with metal and it feels solid in the hands. It's metal so you need to handle it carefully as to not hit other objects.Extending this is simple, just pull it out and there's enough tension to hold a small camera without collapsing.

adding this to my photo backpack to go with the "bullet time" handle, and I love how the selfie pole setup can be collapsed to a size small enough that I can stash it inside the backpack and sort of not think about it too much until I need it. with new cloud services that convert 360 videos into 3D, I'm certainly looking forward to capturing memories on my trips that can then be played back immersively on the vision pro, and having fun with my kids shooting silly VR clips

I initially got this stick for my after market action camera which works great.Then on my birthday, my daughter got me the new Insta360 X3 camera. The camera set came with the OEM stick with tripod.Because of the tripod, the OEM stick was kind of thick to use for air drone shot.Then I realized this stick is designed for Insta360. It's almost half the thickness compared to the OEM stick & lighter in weight too.I use this stick more than the OEM stick. And good price too.Highly recommended!!!

Ordered this "selfie" stick after I bent my OEM one while snowboarding. This stick looks and feels pretty my exactly like the OEM "friction" version, which I used to own before switching to the older "twist-to-lock" variant. I prefer the "twist-to-lock" variant because, even though it does eventually start to self-retract, it does so much less frequently then the "friction" version, like this one. Ultimately, neither of these variants have enough friction to stay extended during sports where they experience vibration, such as skiing, snowboarding, mountainbiking, etc. I wish someone offered a truly locking version, that could still be extended and retracted quickly and on-the-go. I've attached some photos comparing my (roughly unbent) friction version (longer handle), to this stick. If I was in the market for the friction version of a selfie stick of this size, I would get this one if it was less expensive then the OEM, as they're pretty much identical.

This is kind of a stupid use, but I got this to try to take a picture of the back of my chimney out the window. It can't be seen from the ground so the only ways to see it are either out the third floor windows, on the roof, or with a drone. I don't do well with heights so I was down to hanging out the window or getting a drone. My wife told me I couldn't buy a $300 drone just to see if I needed to hire someone to fix the chimney so I was down to hanging out the window. Unfortunately with how the angles are on my room I couldn't see the lower part of the chimney without getting up higher. I decided to look on Vine and whichever came up first, a selfie stick or a drone was going to be the method I'd go with. Unfortunately it was not a super expensive fancy drone, it was a simple selfie stick. Sigh. Oh well, it's at least a well made selfie stick that was long enough for me to do what I needed, but also telescoped down to a small size to store for the next time I am trying to take pictures of random places on my house. There's nothing fancy about it, it's just a telescoping stick with a camera mount screw on the end, but it does everything it needs to do so I'd recommend it.
