Do yourself a favor and get a boresnake, don't settle for cheap knock off brands.

I have almost lost count how many of these bore snakes I have bought. Been using them for a decade. They Come, work, function, and deliver a great way to clean a barrel in even just two times through. Three times virtually guarantees clean barrel. Love this product and lasts very well for years of use.

I have been using bore snakes for years found them to be a quick way to swab out my barrel. In this case it was my .17 HMR rifle
Crossteck is very pleased with the product

The first time I went to use it on my 17 hmr it came apart. Can't send it back through the packaging away that it came in from Amazon. Junk don't waste your money on it .

I find that cleaning my rifle is quicker and easier using a bore snake over rods and brushes. Great quality!

This bore snake works great on 17 caliber rifles. Easier and faster to use than cleaning rod. This is a great way to clean barrel when you are in the field. Hopped makes great products that work well.

It just works. It does not break when pulling it out and fits .17 hmr barrels just fine. What more do you want? Unfortunately, this is not true for a lot of similar offers.

When I used the first one I failed to notice the sewn on wadded up label on the end loop. It got stuck in the barrel where it narrows at the end of the cartridge space. It broke the pull handle and I had to wrap it around a table vice and yank the gun to get it out. The leader tore off in the process. Make sure you remove the sewn-on label with the .17 boresnake. It probably isn't a problem with larger calibers, but .17 is pretty narrow. Once I figured out the problem, I ordered another one,and immediately cut off the label on the new snake.
