I hooked it up in the pit and everything worked fine at first but then a few times the pump wouldn't shut off. Even pulled sensors out and dried them off and still wouldn't turn off.

The company, customer service, tech support... does not exist. I tried the email and the phone number many times. The product is not working as rated in the description or instructions. I altered expensive equipment to install this and it does not work.

This sensor does not function reliably enough to be used for any application. It consistently will leave the pump running dry even though both sensors are out of water, sometimes it turns off after drying the sensors sometimes it will only turn off if I unplug it and plug it back in. The only way I could see using this is if you didn't care that it just left your pump running for hours until the next time you went and checked on it. Also, the alarm not being able to be silenced permanently is annoying.

UPDATE: After seeing my review the supplier reached out and made this purchase right even though the product was over a year old when it failed. Again, the electronics are great but they really need to have replaceable probes. For excellent support I have added an additional starORIGINAL: This product actually works as advertised and is reliable BUT the probes are NOT replaceable and corrode away after about a year .... making this product too expensive and a waste of my time

I used this outside my house during two hurricanes. Was having serious issues with drainage from a new backyard remodel and pool. Back to back hurricanes in fl threatened to flood the house. I put a hose from a water pump out to drain in street. Attached these sensors to the water pump. Duct taped these sensors to a patio paver at about 1 inch each. When water hit both of them as it was coming up towards house it turned on the water pump and kept it from coming into the house. Pool defin over flowed for both storms but house stayed dry. Would recommend for sure. Don’t think this is exactly how you are supposed to use this device but it worked amazing so I imagine it would work great for a fish taken or sewer issue too.

It worked in a practice run but I couldnt get cycling when the water in the pit reached the hi sensor. The telephone number provided for help is always busy and doesnt answer. I would like to return it for a refund.
