My water pump all of a sudden would no longer kick in. It looked like the motor was burned out. Upon some YouTube videos it sounded like it was the pressure switch. I first was going to call a plumber but later decided to buy the switch first.Meanwhile I watched some more videos and one showed on how to clean the contacts as they may be corroded. I did that and my motor started.I never did install the switch but keeping it for inventory. I compared it to mine and everything looked identical so it would be a perfect fit.

BEWARE!! DO NOT BELIEVE THE PICTURES! the pictures showed solid brass fittings which is the only reason i purchased it. Instead you get cheap plastic that strip in the first attempt the thread and leak like a faucet. this company cost me hours of time trying to make it work and in the end you just have to tear it all apart and start over. False advertising should not be allowed on amazon, listing should be removed.

Although my pump is sold and branded RONA, the pressure switch is a perfect match for my old one that started leaking at the diaphragm. Pressure was correctly preset at 30-50 psi.Only drawback is the fittings are made of plastic and not brass and both are 90°. Luckily, my original tube cut at the switch (it was pressed fit) was long enough even with the 90° bend.The fitting leaked without Teflon tape and even then, because of the 90° bend in the fitting, had trouble to stop it from leaking while keeping it in a position that would allow my tube to reach. Not sure if I managed to fully stop the leak. Time will tell.Lost of star because of the cheap fittings, because without that, it works great.
