I've installed Tectus, Sugatsune, SOSS, and other various concealed hinges on high end jobs, but wanted something simple (ie cheaper) for a small project at home. These are decent for the price, but not as refined as Tectus or Sugatsune. The jamb/frame side is a 3 piece design where the ends are separate pieces on top of the center hinge section, allowing the hinge to move inside the mortise when the screws are loosened for up/down adjustment. This works, but it's not as clever as the Sugatsune where there is a full height bucket that the hinge rests in and allows the hinge/door to be removed without removing the bucket from the jamb/frame. Not surprising, I didn't find any information about open/close cycle tests, so it's hard to compare their longevity to more established brands. The door I'm using them on won't get used a lot, so I'm not worried about it, but something to think about considering they are not easy to install. The build quality seems good, though.

These Hidden Door Hinges are 5.5 Inch big. There are 2 pc that come to a pack. These hinges were super simple to install and seem to be great quality hinges and very durable. do i think they are a little on the pricey side yes i do but do i think they are worth every penny thats another yes i do think they are worth what they cost!

Wow... these are so heavy duty and were easy for my hubby to install. I am really impressed with these. We wanted to see the quality that these were before we invested in another set for a different door. These are so awesome and well worth the money!
