I welded 4 of these barrel hinges between two 4’ foot long, 2” angle irons. Had to notch them to get a flush finish as I made a 4’ wire (heavier hog panels) bender. There is a locating foot which helped my alignment. Flipped hinges so it would not come apart. Got the smallest hinge I could find to be more flush. The axle/pin is way thicker than want normal hinges would have. (Already torn up regular hinges.) I now have a 4’ long full hinge bolted to a wood frame. The hinges held up well, and now need to support wood frame, after bending 16 bends for one hog trap. Got a whole bunch of extra hinges with a value pack that I will use in the future. Very pleased.

Dont buy this. I tried welding, and its not weldable. Returning!
