Two ways to install
Installation Methods
Dig grooves in corresponding doors and door frames.
Install the upper and lower swivel shafts，Ensure that the centers of the swivel shaftsare in the same straight line and then fix screws initially.
Adjust the position of the door shaft screw to make it better fit the door frame and make the door rotate more smoothly.
Door catch can be installed on the top or side of the door, depending on your needs

This is truly heavy duty stainless steel metal with smooth bearings! The quality is very solid. There is an adjustment feature at the top of the hinge to allow for room to maneuver when installing if measurements aren't exact. The directions seem adequate, but I don't have a whole lot of experience, so I looked at YouTube videos to install which got me through it. I would say the price is worth it, just take care during the install process and you've got yourself a sturdy, permanent hinge that will hold up over time.

This was just what I needed to hide my office door. The hinges are very strong and solid/heavy and were very easy to install with no issues. The lock holds in place very well and closes at exactly the same spot every time. Hidden doors are such a pain to install, but this has helped a lot. The adjustment on the top hinge is almost a necessity so that you can have a little bit of wiggle room on your measurements. Would 100% buy this one again in the future.

This kit is brilliantly designed. I don't doubt the 570lb weight rating at all - the metal is very substantial, and the pins/bearings are very smooth. The powder coating quality is excellent. I honestly didn't know these types of hinges existed til I stumbled across this, and I'm very glad I did. The cost of this kit is below what I was looking at rigging up with some hinges and locking mechanisms.I didn't quite understand from the listing what the adjustment mechanism is on the top hinge, but once I got the kit, it was clear. It's for a zero-clearance insert for the top hinge. You can retract the pin, position your door in place, and then drop the pin back in place. The only clearance you need to account for is the bottom hinge, which is a small margin to drop the bottom pin into the bearing. Again, brilliant design.
