I was surprised with the weight of the package when I received it, these are very sturdy hinges!We replaced the hinges on our double front doors with these. They are great!Our doors are solid wood from the 60s and very very heavy.These hold up with ease.

These are good hinges but "oil rubbed bronze" implies that, typically on edges, you can see a bronze color like it has been rubbed, hence the name. On these the color is uniform so don't expect anything else. WIth that said they are hinges and people look at handles but hardly ever at the hinges. As long as the peripheral color is correct as we see the handle sets it should be good. If you have a lot of money to waste spend more for that better finish you'll never notice again. If value and quality are more of a concern go with these.Just be careful opening the box, they don't have the screws in their own bag so they'll spill if you're not careful.
