I bought one last summer- nice rail. I bought another one in Dec. They cheapened it up to save money although savings not passed on to customers. First on had nice brackets. They now just cut big rectangular holes to hold the vertical rails. These holes will collect rain, dirt, leaves,etc. Its's still a decent rail and they give U all items to install, drill, bolts, wrenches. Wished they kept the brackets- looked classier.

No instructions were provided; only sketches that show all parts (not labeled) and that show railing assembled and with steps. The lag bolts provided were not concrete bolts ( I had to buy them). Based on my knowledge ( i.e. I have installed safety railings), I am able to install the railing properly. The railing itself appears to be satisfactory.

I was desperate for railings as I am getting older and have older relatives who visit; I wanted something right away and didn’t know where to find someone that would do this work or how long it would take. My cousin told me I could find railings at Amazon. I tried and am so impressed with the quality! They look great and are very sturdy! The only thing I plan to do is to paint the screws black at some point so they don’t stand out as much. My kind is more at ease in terms of safety for anyone entering and leaving my home. Quick note: I ordered two of these and even though at first glance the design looked the same, they were different. I had to order another and wait to see which one it would match before making the return. All worked out in the end!

The railing works well, but do yourself a favor and buy better anchors and a better masonry bit. I originally tried to install with the equipment that came with.The drill bit had a bit of a bend to it so it wandered and walked around a lot and does not cut very easily.. The anchors can be over tightened and stripped out easily.I ended up buying myself a new Masonary bit and new anchors and drilled the old ones out. Everything holds nice sturdy now and it looks great.

Surprised at how heavy duty this railing is. Just what I was looking for. Reminds me of a commercial railing you would find at a business. Time will tell how it holds up but what a well constructed product and easy to install. I used 3/8 “ x 2 1/4 “Tapcon anchors. Drilling the holes in the porch brick was the most time consuming part of the install. Highly, highly Recommended.
