These halogen lights replace the original lamps in our dining room track lighting. One of the four new lamps 'surged' in that its brightness fluctuated, and another was dead-on-arrival (which made it appear the fixture was bad). Fortunately, I only needed one. Can't recommend since only 1 of 4 worked as expected.
