So far these lamps have performed great. I had a different brand and must have gotten a bad batch. I was replacing a lamp about every two days. So far these are working great.

These bulb's color temperature is not as white as my original bulbs. They are more orange-yellow. They do work but it's a disappointment that I will endure.

I ordered these LuxGallerri Halogen bulbs, planning to use them inside my KitchenAid stove. However, they are too wide to fit with the oven's protective glass cover over them. Because it is recommended to always use the protective glass cover over the oven light, I will not be able to use them for this purpose. These are nice, bright halogen bulbs for which I'm sure I will find a use elsewhere in my home.

As a designer I have guilt using anything but low energy LED lighting, but every once in a while my love for halogen light gets the best of me. Still the closest to natural light. They burn hot, and are costly to run (compared to LED) but the light is perfection. Use in moderation ;)

I love these "flood" type lights for my track lighting, throughout my home. The "flood" type covers a wider area, whereas the "spot" types provide a more narrow, intense lumination.They also last very long.This overhead type of lighting is especially attractive to any living space, especially with dimmer switches.
