I love this unit it, was slow / late in arriving, Temu style late & it like magically appeared after I needed it, 😆 🤣 but I must say it's freaking awesome I did a sample test run before I used it on a custom very pricey bathroom medicine cabin build. It's beautiful

This has worked great in the few times I have used it already. It is perfect for mitering out door hinges. My only complaint is that with it being plastic, when you tighten the screw to hold it in place, it warps a little and you have to make certain you are pressing the router down hard to get proper depth on entire cut. Otherwise, the hinge side will not be deep enough for a flush fit. Otherwise, it does exactly what it is intended to do. Nice that it comes with all the parts you need to do the job, just add a door and router. I would give it 5 stars if it didn't warp when tightening it.

Worked great for a door or two, should do a few more if needed. If I hung doors daily I’d look for a better one, but this was just what I needed. Provided cutting bit fit my old school craftsman router, was sharp and cut clean.

Got this because I have three exterior doors that need replacing. It is winter and I won't get to those until it warms up. Still doing a brief test, the template does what it is supposed to. I was a bit taken aback by it being entirely plastic molded from a 3D print (except for the bits/tools), but that doesn't matter for what I need - I just need to be gentle with it and not over-torque it or be heavy handed with the router. The slide ins for rounding the corners for rounded hinges is a nice touch. Having a place built in to keep the bits in order is nice too. Happy!

Product is quick and easy to use and does what it is supposed to. I only had a few doors to do, not sure on longterm reliability if you used it constantly.

Does a nice job but because of the notches built into the template the bit tends to come into contact with the jig.

Idea and general design is excellent, but there are some major issues: 1) clamping mechanism isn't durable enough, causing the unit to lean, shift, come unclamped etc. WHILE routing, which leaves a messed up cut half the time that needs repair and can be very dangerous while routing and 2) hinge length stop insert sits proud and moves under vibration of router, which leads to the same issues re a botched mortise and serious safety concerns.I will use the one I bought to fashion one out of wood/glue/nails and improve it with parts that don't move while routing * and a more robust clamping using stronger, less flexible materials.
