These sleeves do not fit well on the nylon rollers I purchased. They're too tight. Half of them crumpled when I tried to press them on the roller shafts. Fortunately, the size seems inconsistent and there were enough slightly larger sleeves in the box to get all of the rollers covered, but I wouldn't count on it.

Best way to install, is by removing hinge. I wasted a couple of sleeves, before this became apparent. Once installed, there was a slight reduction in noise. These should help with long term lubrication between roller and door.

These are too small for standard garage door rollers. They are also extremely flimsy and thin.

If you have normal sized or high quality rollers on your garage door, this will not fit. They are exactly the same diameter as the posts they are meant to fit over, so the internal diameter is way off.They are also extremely thin. I would say they are thinner than most drinking straws.Low price for a reason.

I saw a video on you tube where they installed these sleeves and it quieted down the garage door, the creater had a link to their store for $20.00, plus another $10.00 shipping and tax. I went to amazon and found them for half the the price. If you read other reviews that say the sleeves are too small, disregard, they are very snug and take some time to put on, but they will go on. I tried soapy water but you had nothing to grab on to. I cleaned the stems and then twisted the sleeves on, about 1/4 inch on each twist, sometimes more somtimes less, but they will go on. I did not see the need to install the lock washer, once you get them on, they ain't coming off. And Yes, it does quiet the garage door down signifcantly. I would recomend these to my friends and neighbors.
