These little soup bowls are perfect for French Onion Soup...several recipes on the web, all work well...the only down side is cleaning the bowls afterwards...maybe your dishwasher will do a better job than mine, but presoaking in hot soapy water makes the task a lot easier.

Originally purchased to make individual portions of French onion soup, we have also used them for personal sized pot pies. The bowls are the perfect size, and have held up well to the high oven temperatures, as well as the broiler. They are nice looking and easy to clean. Will probably order another set.

I gave each of my family members a bowl for Christmas and they LOVE them!! Great looking, great quality and good price!!!They have been used for cooking oatmeal in the microwave and warming soup. I just ordered some for my house!!!

I bought a different style and size and returned it b/c they were just too big. This size is perfect for french onion soup or chili.Highly recommend, in fact, I only bought 4 and will buy more to bring me to 8.

I have no idea why we didn’t have something like this yet. I love them and I’m so happy with this purchase. Made French onion soup tonight and after putting them under the broiler they stayed hot for some long. Really retains heat and keeps your soup or chili warm! They came packaged very securely between two pieces of styrofoam. The portion size I feel is large enough for most appetites. Cleaning them was a breeze. I’m already thinking of chicken pot pies, cobbler, and more soups. If you eat soup, even if from a can, this will be your new favorite soup bowl.
