I like well-made, thick, deep bowls that can hold lots of different food types, soups, salads, pasta, cereal, deserts, etc. These are like that, very multi-functional. I retired my older bowls that were smaller, thinner, and more food-specific. These are high quality bowls so I ordered more and use these exclusively. The only nit is that the ridges on the exterior can be a bit of a pain to wash if food has hardened in the grooves.

I like these bowls, nice and large. You can fix and mix your salad right in it. They are fairly heavy and they feel sort of fragile. So I wouldn’t suggest for someone with weak grips, or prone to dropping things. Otherwise, a solid purchase.
