Our Lathe ring mandrel set does not wobble in a lathe. They run very straight and true with no wobble. We made it possible by making the steps on each mandrel very shallow, so they stay tight and wobble-free even after a long time.
Extra Hex Key Included
The expanding ring mandrel for lathe set includes an Allen wrench to expand and contract the mandrel. Note: All expanding mandrels has shank thickness 1/2" or 12.5 mm to fit a variety of chucks and can be used in a lathe machine with at least 3 jaws chucks

How To Use It Efficiently
To make the most out of our Lathe ring mandrel set, do not forget to grease the screws before use. For proper function, apply a layer or two of tape to the step you will be using. This helps protect the inside of your ring. For ideal spinning, the mandrel length is kept not too long making it effortless to reshape/resize your favorite rings
Perfect For a Large Range of Ring Sizes (4-14)
The jewelry resizer comes in small, medium, and large sizes along with an Allen wrench to adjust the mandrel which features a suitable shank thickness to accommodate a variety of chucks. Still, if you need to go larger than 14, adding some electric tape to your mandrel will do the trick

The tools seem well made, round stock centers easily on the mandrel and tightens easily with the included wrench. Good finish, no burrs.

I've purchased others that are more expensive but harder to use as an amateur. This is so simple & lightweight. No manual is needed.

I started wooden ringmaking and was looking to see if I could use this to turn my drill into a mini-lathe. This fit my standard Dewalt drill chuck and the ring stayed secure when I made sure it was snug on the mandrel and tightened down on the hex key (don't want to crack the wood but you do need it to be secure). I basically laid a piece of sand paper down and just ran the ring over it at while it was spinning. It worked surprisingly well and got a really great finish. It will also fit very nicely in a drill press for similar work I believe, though I haven't validated that yet. Product seems like good quality.

While the mandrels work fine for my use case, the quality of the machining is not what I expected for the price. If you’re a serious lathe-using pro, maybe another brand would be more suitable. If $100 sounds like a good deal for three mandrels, and pro shop quality is not a priority, this set will work. It gets a 4th star because of the 3-piece set and the price. Other than that I would say it’s rally and honest 3 star product at best.

AWESOME tool that comes in handy. Great quality. I bought this when I was making my brother’s wedding ring (titanium) and needed a way to safely hold it in my lathe for grooving and polishing. This thing works GREAT!! It does work with a live center as well, however I recommend using a bull-nose if you have one, but it will work with a fully tapered/pointed center as well (i tried both just to see). 9.5/10.

I needed a mandrel that would work for 7 1/2 and size 10- 12 . These are either too large or too small
