I ordered and received 2 of this product. I have replaced this model of cartridge in my home over the last 20+ years with no problems.When installing the cartridge, I found the end with the O-rings was rubbing the inside of the brass due to the tabs that hold the O-ring plate sticking out slightly making it very difficult to insert the cartridge. I lubed the brass and finally got the cartridge inserted all the way. I installed all screws, turned the water back on and attempted to turn the faucet on. The knob would not turn. I removed the knob and inspected the turn limits on the cartridge shaft to see which way the shaft was already turned. I had to apply way too much force to finally turn the valve. It was enough force that I feared breaking the keyed shaft on the knob. There is absolutely NO WAY that a person with wet or soapy hands could turn this. All previous cartridges that I have purchased were easy to turn. I turned the valve back off and...drip...drip...drip...I could not shut the valve completely off. I turned the knob as far as I dared without breaking either the knob or the valve shaft, but still dripped.BUT WAIT!! THERE'S MORE!!!Remember, I bought TWO of these. I'll just swap the bad one for the other new one. Since I learned my lesson on the first one, I pulled the second one out of the bag and put the knob on it. The knob turned, but with the same or more resistance as the original one I am replacing. At this point, I don't trust the second cartridge,Both items will be sent back for refund. Already ordered replacements from different vendor.

Our old valve was difficult to turn and more recently started dripping. This replacement installed in about 15 minutes with only a hex wrench and a Phillips screwdriver. The new valve fit without modification, turns easily and doesn't drip. Well worth the refresh on a shower valve that was over 10 years old.

I cannot find a way to contact the seller so I will write a short review seeking to have a dialog with the seller because I have bought this valve 4 times in the past for replacement of one or more of our household shower valves. Unfortunately, the last two have not lasted very long. It seemed like I had just replaced it within a few months the last time so I wrote down the date that I installed this latest valve. It was July 29. Then I had to replace it again today. I always keep one on hand so the two that I purchased prior to July were actually the ones that did not last very long. In this case it was less than 2 months. The time prior seemed pretty short too. The valve either stops blending the water so it is either burning hot or just cold. Or the valve starts to pulsate the water. I am hoping to talk to someone about why this is happening and why so frequently.Please reach out so we can discuss my issues.Thanks!

I bought this valve because my bathroom shower valve was leaking. I am no handyman but the directions are easy to read and I got it put in, in no time at all. So if you need to replace your valve I highly recommend this one.

I have been purchasing from Amazon the replacement cartridges for my Price Pfister for our shower for quite some time and never had an issue. I like to purchase them in advance to have on hand before the cartridge goes out, so I don't have to make a trip to the hardware store and can replace right away. I would highly recommend purchasing in advance.
