This bit will drill through ceramic or porcelain with ease and is so worth it because it doesn't burn up like other bits. It fits my DeWalt angle grinder and drill both. Fantastic.

Only had to use it for one cut so far. It worked great on a 3/4 inch slab of bluestone. Cut through it like butter, a little dusty but that is to be expected especially when you are cutting dry like I did. Make sure you follow the directions and start it at a 45 degree angle.

Bathroom tap - wanted to change from a high arching [the schupid style today] to a more practical low arching except I had one itty bitty problem. High arching are singular holes and the low arching are three holed (at least with the Moen*** tap).I needed a 1in drill bit and even better with this one - was the included the shank adapter so I could use it on my drill. Most of the units I saw require an angle grinder but --- IMO it isn't required. (I wasted time with that angle grinder and figuring out which system of battery tools I should buy - deferred for now)The only tricky part after a very slow but accurate measurement phase, is to start the drilling must be on an angle and it was moving all around until it finally took. I will have to watch more You Tubers to see if there is a starting technique like scoring first. But once I started - I kept stopping to dip in cold ice water - it created the holes perfectly and I can see it will help with another couple of drillings including another bathroom and in the kitchen for the water filter tap.At any rate - great unit and bonus marks for the shank - that alone could come in handy with another bit that comes with no shank down the road.Recommended.MOEN*** "Buy it for looks, buy it for life" is 100% true - they stand by their products. My original home had Moen taps and 25 years later they still were providing me support with replacement cartridges and rubber seals. Moved into a new home with el cheapo crap taps - slowing migrating back to Moen.

I only had one hole to drill through a porcelain tile and this bit did the job well. No signs of wear going through one very hard tile. For novices, watch some YouTube videos on how to drill tile and the rest is history.

I needed multiple sizes for a shower system install in an existing shower. This product had all the sizes I needed packed in a convenient carrying case. I drilled 4 holes with little effort. I did use water which you should do if possible. One hole was a little off but because of the extra coating on the bit, I was able to ream the hole. No tile bits last forever but I see no wearing on the one bit I used twice plus the reaming.

I needed to drill a hole for a new faucet in my granite countertop. I only needed to drill one hole and may never need this bit again, so it was exactly what I needed for the price. I love that it works on a grinder or a drill. I used my grinder with a bit of water to keep it cool and it cut a nice smooth hole. Very pleased.
